“My previous birth was traumatic, and I don't know how I'll ever feel safe again.”

In-person counseling in Wakefield/South Kingstown, Rhode Island and virtually throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

I'm a licensed independent clinical social worker, and I'm passionate about supporting individuals experiencing fear and anxiety surrounding pregnancy and childbirth, including tokophobia, as well as those navigating traumatic birth experiences.
My personal experience with childbirth-related anxiety and fear and my child's birth inspired my commitment to supporting individuals facing similar concerns.
Additionally, I provide EMDR therapeutic support for individuals who have experienced trauma and are struggling with PTSD, anxiety, and depression while continuing to work with their primary therapist.
I believe that you deserve to feel heard, understood, and supported.
My clinical training and personal experience inform the compassionate, nonjudgmental therapy I provide. With therapeutic support, you may develop greater awareness of your emotions and responses, process traumatic memories, feel more grounded and at peace, and strengthen your ability to communicate your needs.
You do not have to navigate these experiences alone.
I offer in-person counseling in Wakefield, Rhode Island, in the South Kingstown area, as well as virtually throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
