Equine-assisted EMDR therapy is a private-pay service and is not covered by insurance. The cost is $200 per one-hour session.

Tokophobia is an intense fear of pregnancy or childbirth. Therapy may provide a supportive space to explore these fears and work toward feeling more prepared and empowered as you navigate pregnancy and childbirth.

I'm a licensed independent clinical social worker. I help women in Wakefield/South Kingstown, Rhode Island and virtually in Rhode Island and Massachusetts who experience anxiety and fear about pregnancy and childbirth, including tokophobia as well as individuals navigating birth trauma. Additionally, I provide EMDR therapeutic support for individuals who have experienced trauma and are struggling with PTSD, anxiety, and depression while continuing to work with their primary therapist.
